AVAS tests
We carefully assemble the system, create our own sounds and conduct tests. In order for our system to comply with Regulation No. 138.01, it is also necessary to conduct basic research on the audibility and visibility of all types of vehicles.
The technical task of the AVAS system is to improve the acoustic visibility of an electrified vehicle for vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists). The adaptive principle of operation of such a system developed by us at THOR-AVAS will make it possible to make the visibility of the vehicle independent of its speed, the nature of the background noise of the environment (city / suburb, road / park) and the time of day (day / night). This allows you to significantly improve the safety of the vehicle. To verify this principle, we carry out a significant number of objective and subjective measurements in natural conditions and in an anechoic chamber.
