The most popular electric car brand in the US and Europe, Tesla, offers its customers various sounds that imitate the sound of the engine. These AVAS (acoustic vehicle alerting system) or EVWSS (electric vehicle warning sound system) sounds are created to improve safety and improve the perception of the car on the road by pedestrians and other drivers.
